Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Units (POSCU’s)
A POSCU is a designated specialist unit closer to a child's home that partners with a Principal Treatment Centre (PTC) to provide some children's cancer care, such as blood tests, supportive care, or chemotherapy, in a local setting. This model of shared care aims to reduce the need for families to travel long distances for some aspects of a child's treatment for cancer.
The POSCU’s in region are shown on the website’s landing page.
